About Phoenix House Nampa

Men’s Sober Living in the Heart of the Treasure Valley

The Phoenix House Story

Ryan and April York — a physical therapist and a middle-school teacher — founded Phoenix House in 2015 after a period of deep prayer for purpose. What started as a real estate investment quickly became a life mission.

After the tragic loss of a house manager named Jared to addiction in 2017, Ryan confronted the harsh realities of addiction head-on. That turning point ignited a fierce determination to create genuine change — not just a place to sleep, but a true community of recovery.

Today, Phoenix House serves men in recovery across the Treasure Valley, including our Nampa location at 2711 Shamrock Ave — a home built on brotherhood, support, and hope.
